What is Go28+
Is a Jesus movement rising from LA having the 2028 Olympics as a once-in-a-generation launchpad to unite believers, ignite bold faith, and send a generation to carry His love to every nation + every language.

Goals

  • 2,028 YWAMers from all over the world
  • 800 churches engaged
  • 8,000 christians participating

Together we focus on mobilizing teams for outreaches, community festivals, hospitality, sports chaplaincy and performing arts focused on sharing good news of Jesus. A global opportunity the games represent, not just during the Olympics, but before and after, through long-term discipleship, local church partnerships, and global collaboration.

Prayer Map: Key areas of Los Angeles to pray specifically for each area.

Prayer Waves: Churches, small groups, and students participating in a city-wide prayer wave.

Intercession Nights: Monthly gatherings focused on breakthrough, revival, and individual hearts for people.

Prayer Resources: Links updated weekly with the Guide materials, Prayer events and Calendars

People of Peace: A team of city catalysts to lead and mobilize neighborhoods and churches for events and trainings 

Social Media Campaigns: Online presence for constant encouragement

Recruiting: calling all disciples to go on specific outreach events

Track Engagement: Maintain a dashboard of active participants, their teams, and areas of involvement.

Training Workshops: Host sessions on evangelism, mentorship and relational ministry.

Library: Webinars with digital and printable resources for quick learning and reinforcement.

Feedback Loops: After each engagement, debrief with teams to refine skills and build confidence.

Neighborhood Mapping: Identify schools, parks, shelters, and social hubs where the community gathers.

Partnerships: Collaborate with local organizations, churches, and influencers to strengthen one another

Regular Presence: Maintaining engagement in the events and equipping sessions or tools
